Asking for Feedback: The At-Home Kidney Function Test

Now that this has been posted for about a day and a half, and notices have been sent out about it I'm going to ask for comments and feedback. This is just one of a series of articles I had planned which brings aspects of small animal internal medicine to owners, something veterinarians generally don't do, so I really would appreciate knowing if this is a viable idea or not. Some of the things I'm looking for are:

  • Was it understandable or too complicated?

  • Is this information useful or not?

  • Do you realistically think you'd ever use this information at home?

  • Is the explanation of the science behind it clear or confusing?

  • After reading this, do you think you can now do this test or does it seem too complicated? Thanks in advance.

The info was easy to understand and I feel like I could read the refractometer without any problem!

I liked the info. Didn't know I needed lens wipes. When I get those, I'm going to give it a try.

I think the information is useful and can use it. I don’t find it intimidating. Disclaimer I’m used to reading technical writings so I’m probably not the best judge of if the general public would find this too much to understand. I always appreciate an explanation but that’s just me, personally. I do not find it too complex but defer to others so it is accessible to everyone. 👍🏻
